Boston Police Department Tracks Down Parental Kidnapping Suspect Arrested in New Hampshire

Boston Police Department : A Massachusetts woman wanted for parental kidnapping in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood has been captured in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Officials confirmed that Angelica Gomez, 35, was safely taken into custody, and the child involved in the abduction was found unharmed.

The Boston Police Department, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Service, launched a multi-state investigation after Gomez allegedly abducted her child in October 2025. Authorities stated that Gomez was being sought “in connection with a parental kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a minor.”

Following a targeted search operation, Gomez was arrested on charges of kidnapping and child endangerment by a relative. Officials said the successful recovery of the child was made possible through coordinated efforts between federal and local law enforcement agencies.

Boston Police Department’s Ongoing Investigation

The Boston Police Department had initially requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals to locate Gomez, though her name was not publicly released in official updates last month. Gomez is currently being arraigned in New Hampshire as a fugitive from justice, and proceedings are underway for her extradition to Massachusetts. Authorities have assured that all legal measures are being taken to ensure a fair and swift judicial process.
